Following the family tradition, he started almost 30 years ago to learn and understand the gas and hot air balloon rides. Since then, he spent more than 2’000 hours in the balloon basket and could experience many beautiful balloon rides on all continents. Martin A. Messner is president of of the Swiss Balloon Association and as a member of the General Aviation Committee he acts with a specific focus on the balloon sport.

Qualified airline pilot with 2000 flying hours in airliners and as an airshow Pilot of warbirds like the P-51 Mustang, B-25 Mitchell, T-28 etc. Aerobatic flying on Pitts S1 and Extra 300L. He brings his complete flying experience into the team and helps to make the simulation as realistic as possible.
